The Christmas Season is cluttered with a multitude of messages and in order to stand out from the crowd and cut through the masses, Sports & Games needed a campaign that would not only change the perspective of the brand but also create a conversation. Skinny Santa used a number of tools to aid consumer recall and drive sales both online and in store.
In the day of the health conscious, the main idea was changing the look of Santa himself, who is traditionally characterized as being plump, by slimming him down and showing him using exercise equipment to achieve his goal of losing weight.
